Caitlin A. Bevis, MAI
Caitlin Bevis, Founder and Managing Principal, discovered a need in the commercial real estate sector for impartial valuations delivered with a client-first mentality.
A Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute and licensed in multiple states, Caitlin is well-versed in the appraisal of all primary property types across the US. Over the past several years, Caitlin has focused on the valuation of CBD and suburban office, industrial, retail, and multifamily assets. Proficient in the newest ARGUS software, ARGUS Enterprise, Caitlin has trained colleagues and students at the Steers Center for Global Real Estate at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She is also an active member of CREW Boston.
With a Master’s Degree in the Humanities from the University of Chicago and over 17 years in the commercial real estate field, Caitlin’s unique blend of the arts and finance results in accurate, effectively communicated appraisals.
When not serving her clients, Caitlin enjoys Friday night dance parties with her family, perfecting the weekend getaway, and trying to keep up with her amazing running group.
Joel Bevis, Director at Breakpoint Advisors, focuses chiefly on the valuation of multifamily and mixed-use assets in both urban and suburban settings.
As a former Director in the Boston office of Capright, Joel has spent the last several years serving primarily institutional clients and working across all property types. He began his appraisal career with Integra Realty Resources in Chicago with an emphasis on valuations for financial institutions for lending purposes. Proficient in ARGUS Enterprise and having completed some 750 appraisals over 25 states, he is an experienced and pragmatic commercial real estate professional. With a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, Joel has a keen interest in the relationship between people and place within the built environment.
In his personal life, Joel is typically found in the company of his wife, Caitlin, and son, Sidney, the latter of whom is the driving force for his conversion to a Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan.
Andrew Meschewski, MAI
Andrew Meschewski, Director at Breakpoint Advisors, leads the Los Angeles office and focuses on all major asset classes located in the Western United States.
Prior to Breakpoint Advisors, Andrew was a Director at Capright’s San Diego and Chicago offices and has spent the last several years serving primarily institutional clients for purposes that include financial reporting for pension fund requirements, asset management, and acquisition due diligence. During his employ with Capright, Andrew trained colleagues on the appraisal process and completed assignments in over 20 states. His interest in commercial real estate was fostered at the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with majors in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics as well as Risk Management and Insurance. With his proficiency in ARGUS Enterprise and knowledge of an ever-changing commercial real estate environment, Andrew ensures that each valuation and consulting assignment exemplifies his desire for delivering thorough, cohesive analyses that meet client expectations and deadlines.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys travelling with his wife, Boyana, and meticulously curating his ever-growing compact disc collection, which he hopes will one day be as hip as vinyl.
Sharan Martin is a Director at Breakpoint Advisors. She has been involved in real estate leasing, management, and valuation since 1980.
Currently licensed as a Certified General Appraiser in two states, Sharan was most recently a staff appraiser with Carr, Sigsbee & Associates, where she focused on commercial real estate valuation, including office, retail, and warehouse properties, business and industrial parks, residential subdivisions, and mixed-use developments. Her practice also included eminent domain appraisal. Her leasing and property management experience almost exclusively involved retail centers.
Sharan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland; has successfully completed all courses for the Certified Property Management designation awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management; and stays current in the appraisal field through continuing educational requirements necessary to retain Certified General designations.
In addition to her commercial real estate interests, Sharan has embarked on a formal art docent training program and has been appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission of her small city. Her wide range of experience supports producers and staff at Breakpoint Advisors.
Susannah Cintron, Associate with Breakpoint Advisors, is a trainee appraiser supporting Breakpoint senior staff with appraisal projects within the US.
Susannah began her appraisal career with Capright where she assisted with research, data analysis and narrative report writing for various property types across the United States. Prior to embarking on her career change, Susannah spent over ten years as a nonprofit and fundraising professional in the Boston area. Most recently, Susannah was a Senior Development Researcher with Combined Jewish Philanthropies where she partnered with development staff on prospect management strategies for major donors to support the annual fundraising goal. Susannah is a graduate of Indiana University where she majored in Telecommunications.
Susannah lives in Boston with her husband and two children. She is the proud parent of a Boston Public Schools student and is actively involved as a parent volunteer, both at the neighborhood and city-wide level.
Christine H. Pulle
Christine H. Pulle, Director of Operations at Breakpoint Advisors, ensures that Breakpoint client needs are met with efficient and seamless service from engagement to delivery.
Christine began her career in Information Technology Consulting and Project Management with IBM, leading cross-functional and multi-national teams to deliver complex IT solutions to a variety of Fortune 100, 500, and public sector clients. After more than a decade, Christine then put her technical and organizational skills to use at a more localized level, as a project and program manager for political candidates and within the non-profit sector. Christine holds a BA in Marketing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and three children sharing a lifelong love of nature and exploring new places.
